"I wanted to do something to get fitter and tone up but I wasn’t keen on the idea of joining a gym or a typical exercise class. Jess mentioned cheerobics so I joined the class a few months ago and loved it straight away. I go every Monday and Tuesday night.
Cheerobics is great - I especially enjoy exercising with the pom-poms! - and I have found that as well as toning up I have lots more energy. It has even built up my confidence.
We usually begin with a warm up with the pom-poms followed by crunches and cardio stretches. Sometimes Jess gets us to do a can-can routine, which is exhausting but fun and great for helping with techniques and memory skills.
Jess is a brilliant dance teacher and very encouraging. If you think you might like cheerobics, I would highly recommend you give one of her classes a try." Hayley Lake
