NFL Sponsorship Activation
The dream for every cheerleader is to cheer for the NFL - and given that in Europe we are not lucky enough to have an official NFL team (YET! ..we are still holding hope!) our team of professional cheerleaders in London have managed to get as close to their dream as possible working with iON for the NFL sponsorship activation, performing at the NFL's official tailgate parties at every game this season. iON Cameras Ltd, the global consumer electronics company that brought Shoot/Share™ Wi-Fi connectivity to point-of-view (POV) cameras, is the official sponsor of the UK Tour of the National Football League (NFL). Its Air Pro camera series has been named ‘Official Action Camera of the NFL in the UK.’ We could not be more thrilled to be part of such an incredible combination of action, cameras, fans and NFL!
This year sees the NFL celebrate three games at London’s Wembley Stadium following the sell-out success of last year’s games. Prior to each of the International Series Games, the NFL will host fan rallies and tailgate events, where the iON cheerleaders will be performing and hosting the ultimate fan competition in which participants can win an iON Air Pro 3 camera and the opportunity to go behind the scenes and watch the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars at practice, as well as a stay in a top London hotel with four tickets to watch the sold-out match.
As part of the sponsorship activation, we will be running activities on site and on social media: iON cheerleaders are also hosting their very own Social Media fan competition: #iONtheNFL where fans can win a camera simply by uploading their fan picture with the cheerleaders!
